Join us for an extraordinary evening with Chantal Gonet, seventh-generation steward of Champagne Philippe Gonet in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. From the chalky slopes of the Côte des Blancs, the Gonet family has crafted wines of purity, elegance, and terroir expression since 1830.
Chantal’s journey is one of resilience and vision. After the sudden loss of her father, she and her mother held the domaine together through determination and hard work, ensuring the family’s legacy endured. Later, she pioneered Champagne’s expansion into global markets, while simultaneously elevating the estate’s viticulture and winemaking. Under her leadership, Champagne Philippe Gonet has embraced organic and biodynamic farming, artisanal cellar practices, and a relentless commitment to Chardonnay’s crystalline beauty.
In this masterclass, Chantal will guide us through the philosophy of grower Champagne—wines born from family vineyards, nurtured by hand, and shaped by place rather than marketing. Together, we will explore the house’s most celebrated cuvées, from the mineral-driven Le Mesnil Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs to the uncompromising 3210 Zero Dosage and the house’s pinnacle, Belemnita. Along the way, Chantal will share her personal story of perseverance, the evolving landscape of Champagne, and the pleasures of enjoying these wines in both everyday and celebratory moments.
